3 Tan Uyen Roads Project

On 4th August 2010, BOT project on three roads namely DT746, DT747B and DT742 under Tan Uyen district was officially launched and assigned to Becamex IDC by Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee to construct under BOT (Building - Operation - Transfer) form.

On 4th August 2010, BOT project on three roads namely DT746, DT747B and DT742 under Tan Uyen district was officially launched and assigned to Becamex IDC by Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee to construct under BOT (Building - Operation - Transfer) form as per project priority order as follows:

- The provincial road named DT746, Tan Khanh – Uyen Hung section: It was expanded from Tan Khanh bridge to traffic circle of Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park, to Cay Queo intersection and ended at the cross point with Thu Bien – Cong Xanh road. This is the most important and shortest road to connect Tan Phuoc Khanh town and Nam Tan Uyen with Thu Dau Mot town. It is characterized by length of approximately 18,128m, hot asphalt concrete pavement with 06 lanes for vehicles.

- The provincial road named DT 747B, at Binh Chuan – Hoi Nghia section: It was expanded from the intersection of Ong Cu temple under Binh Chuan commune, crossing Khanh Van bridge to traffic circle of Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park, trespassing the traffic circle to go straight to the intersection of 3 – 349 and ended at the cross point with Thu Bien – Cong Xanh road (Hoi Nghia). By connecting the Northeast of Tan Uyen district with Nam Binh Duong (Thuan An and Di An districts), such road is important for industrial transportation in combination with Song Than station and ports in Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai. It is characterized by length of approximately 19,002m, hot asphalt concrete pavement with 06 lanes for vehicles.

- The provincial road named DT 742, at Phu My – Cong Xanh section: From Pham Ngoc Thach intersection – DT 742 along the available road to trespass communes of Phu Chanh, Vinh Tan and Tan Binh in Tan Uyen district and ended at Cong Xanh intersecting point in Tan Binh commune. This road played a very important role in connecting the North of Tan Uyen district with the province’s centralized political and administrative center in particular and Binh Duong City in the future. It is characterized by length of approximately 20,004m, hot asphalt concrete pavement with 06 lanes for vehicles.

Total investment of 1428.3 billion VND including traffic infrastructure expenses and automation toll stations. In which, expenses for compensation and site clearance were taken from the State budget. The expected construction period was 4 years from 2010 to 2013, in which the first phase lasted from 2010 to 2012 to construct DT 746; the second phase was from 2011 to 2013 to construct DT 747B and DT 742. The roads were expected to be collected with fees from 2014 with terms of 50 years (excluding construction period).

The Project would satisfy the technical infrastructure development demand to boost supply for economic development, appealing home and foreign investors to invest in the area, especially in established and on-going industrial parks of Tan Uyen district.
