Binh Duong New City
BINH DUONG NEW CITY INTRODUCTION
According to a future-oriented planning, Binh Duong will be upgraded to become one of the centrally-controlled municipalities in Vietnam by 2020. Therefore, to ensure development in accordance with the approved master plan, a Binh Duong New City of 1,000 ha in the complex is built to become a modern, civilized center district of Binh Duong in the future.
This locality has been chosen to be a political and administrative center of Binh Duong by Provincial Party Committee, People's Committees and People's Council with a high level of consensus. In order to complete the detailed planning of 1/500 scale with respect to modern style for this Binh Duong New City, Becamex IDC has invited the Institute of design and architect consulting from National University of Singapore (NUS) to implement this plan.
On June 2009, Binh Duong People's Committee approved the detailed construction plan of 1/500 scale by Decision No. 2273/QĐ-UBND. On July 2009, Becamex received a certificate of land use right for a project kick-off based on the decision no. 2717/QD-UBND.

Phu My and Dinh Hoa wards in Thu Dau Mot town; Phu Chanh,Tan Hiep and Tan Vinh Hiep wards in Tan Uyen district; Hoa Loi ward in Ben Cat District of Binh Duong Province
As planned at a scaled of 1/500, Binh Duong new city will consist of the following construction items:
- Political and administrative center, forming a new feature in the reform of administrative management system in order to more effectively serve the inhabitants.
- High-technology park
- Financial, banking and securities center
- Office for lease, restaurants and luxury hotels
- International convention and exhibition center, universities
- Community center: squares, parks, ecological lakes, cultural centers, kindergartens and hospitals.
- Technical infrastructure works: road, sewage, underground and communications system
The new urban will become political - economic, cultural, social center of the entire province. The modern and urban center will be ready to serve more than 125,000 inhabitants and over 400,000 people working here. Complying with the approved planning, Becamex IDC has built modern infrastructure and public transportation system to easily connect with other nearbyprovinces and cities. In addition, Becamex IDC has organized a number of marketing activities to call for investment in the new city from experienced and prestigious domestic and foreign investors with a potential financial capacity.
When completed construction, this new city will become a city of trade, technology and services meeting the following objectives:
- The new city development in accordance with the standards of modern and environmental-friendly design.
- To provide best services.
- A model developed based on new design ideas and technology to attract new types of high-tech services
