With more than 30 years of operation, Becamex has become a professional multi-industry economic corporation from a General Trading company forerunner with simple trading activities. The development of Becamex IDC has accompanied with the economic innovation of Binh Duong Province in most of social and economic areas. Especially, Becamex IDC has focused on industrial development, transportation infrastructure and urbanization as the lever for economic growth. And great success has been recognized.

Some Becamex IDC ‘s achievements:

- Industrial infrastructure development: Becamex IDC has successfully constructed many high standard industrial parks with national stature as well as a number of industrial complexes such as Vietnam – Singapore Industrial Park, My Phuoc Industrial Park, Bau Bang Industrial Park, Thoi Hoa… More than 95% of the industrial parks have been filled with total investment capital of about 6.3 billion of USD, creating jobs for more than 150,000 people. In one side, these kinds of industrial park model have much contributed to the sustainable development of Binh Duong province. In the other side, Becamex IDC has constructed here an advantageous investment environment as well as a stable living condition for exterior labors.

- Transportation infrastructure development: Binh Duong province has very good transportation system with National Highway 13 and Expressway My Phuoc – Tan Van which are the trunks connected a network of roads in the province. These backbones improve the goods circulation and economic development between Binh Duong and the whole area of Southern Key Economic Zone as well as Highland area. These transportation infrastructure projects not only stabilizes the investment environment but also builds up the appearance of  Binh Duong Province on the way becoming grade 1 city following the 2020 oriented planning guideline.

- Urbanization: Large-scale, modern projects were completed as well as are in progress:

• Becamex City Center: Becamex City Center is the first modern and model urban center in Binh Duong Province. This project occupies an area of 2 hectares with fully equipped facilities such as: commercial houses, high class condominium, offices for lease, hotels, restaurants, supermarkets…, and it is a foundation for urbanization growth of Thu Dau Mot town becoming a political, social and economic center of Binh Duong new City, grade 1 in year 2015.
• Ecolakes My Phuoc Project: is the co-operated project between Becamex IDC and Seti, the biggest real estate corporation in Malaysia. This is a modern urban area schemed to harmonize with nature setting up a typical model with high standard for new livings.
• Binh Duong New City is built on the area of 1,007 hectares in the Binh Duong Industry-Service-Urban Complex which will be a civilized, modern center district of the new city of Binh Duong, belong to the State planning to 2020. This also has been chosen to be the political and administrative center of Binh Duong Province by Provincial Party Committee, People's Committees and People's Council with a high level of consensus. This new city will be ready to serve more than 125,000 inhabitants and about 400,000 people working here.

- Medical and educational development :

• My Phuoc General Hospital’s area of 2 hectares with 500 beds (phase 1)

- Two large-scale projects are in progress :

• Eastern International General Hospital is built on the area of 12.76 hectares with 1,000 beds.
• Eastern International University is constructed on the area of 26 hectares with the training size of 24,000 students.

With recent achievements, it is a great honor for Becamex IDC to obtain some noble awards by the Chairman of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam:

• Labor Medal Class III in 1997
• Labor Medal Class II in 1999
• Labor Medal Class I in 2000
• Independence Medal Class III in 2009
