Becamex IDC has mobilized the tree planting festival 2012

On the morning of May 19th, in Binh Duong New City, under the chairmanship of Binh Duong PPC, Investment and Industrial Development One Member Limited Corporation (Becamex IDC) held a ceremony to mobilize “tree planting festival 19-5-2012”. More than 1,000 union members and youths of Becamex IDC, Provincial youth union, union of enterprises block of Binh Duong province and provincial departments, agencies and unions came to take part in this event.
By the end of 2011, within the Industrial Zones and Urban Zones invested by Becamex IDC, nearly 900,000 trees of many kinds have been grown. Performing the tree planting plan 2012, Becamex IDC will grow about 2,624,000 trees in areas: Center of Bind Duong New City, My Phuoc, Thoi Hoa and Bau Bang Industrial Zones.

At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Nam – Vice Chairman of the PPC said that currently, in the locality, the movement of tree planting and forestation has been maintained and strongly developed. In which, Becamex IDC is one of the pioneers in implementing and building Industrial Zones, Urban Zones which are civilized, modern, friendly to the environment, and have systems of green trees ensured and reasonably arranged. He recognized and praised organizations, agencies, units, households, individuals in general and Becamex IDC in particular for actively conducting the dispersed tree planting in the past time, contributing to create a green- clean- beautiful environment in the province; at the same time, it is required that Becamex IDC should check up planted trees in order to ensure their survival and protect them well.

President of the Republic of Kalmykia Visits Binh Duong New City

On August 30, 2010, President of the Socialist Republic Vietnam Nguyen Minh Triet and Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, President of the Republic of Kalmykia cum Head of the International Chess Federation (FIDE), visited Binh Duong New City and Eastern International University (EIU). They also planted memorial trees in EIU. Binh Duong province’s achievements in recent years, especially Binh Duong New City project, had made a great impressive on Mr Kirsan Ilyumzhinov. He hoped that his country would have chance to cooperate with Binh Duong province in agricultural development and other industrial sectors.

The Ceremony of Commencement to construct and develop Binh Duong New City and inaugurate Centralized Administrative Center in Binh Duong province

On February 20, the ceremony to inaugurate the Centralized Administrative Center and start up the construction and development project of Binh Duong New City was organized by the Provincial People’s Committee with the presence of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and the leaders of provinces.
