Ben Cat District, Binh Duong Province Strikes Up a Friendship With Yeongdo District, Busan City, Korea

To strengthen and develop the relationship of “Strategic Partner” between Vietnam and Korea in general as well as to create conditions and favorable investment environment for investors of Korea in the province in particular, on April 18th 2011, Ben Cat district, Binh Duong province and Yeongdo district, Busan city, Korea organized the ceremony to sign the friendship relation agreement.

Participated in the ceremony, there were the presence of Ms. Cha Chang Soon-Deputy Consulate General of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Paik In Ki-Chairman of Korean Investment Association in Binh Duong, Mr. Le Thanh Cung-Chairman of People’s Committee of Binh Duong province, leaders of departments and sectors and many Korean enterprises investing in Industrial parks in Ben Cat district, Binh Duong province.

On this occasion, Yeongdo district offered 50 million dongs and Sung Kyun Vina Company-Song Than Industrial Park offered 100 million dongs for the scholarship fund for poor and studious students of Ben Cat district.

In the working visit in Binh Duong province, Ben Cat district, the delegates of Yeongdo district, Busan city, Korea visited My Phuoc Industrial Park, Bau Bang Industrial Park, Industrial Park-service-Urban Complex and New Binh Duong city-which are large-scale projects invested by Becamex IDC.

This morning (24-2), in Hoa Loi urban area, Binh Duong Industry – Service and Urban Complex , the PPC and One Member Company Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (Becamex IDC) held the commencement of the project for constructing the social insurance house in Binh Duong, stage 2011-2015, Hoa Loi social insurance houses. Vice PM Hoang Trung Hai, Former President Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of Provincial Committee Mai Que Trung, PPC Chairman Le Thanh Cung as well as representatives from Central and Binh Duong ministries, branches, agencies were the participants of the commencement.

Binh Duong Has Invested More Than VND 4,000 Billion Into Building Water-pipe Route from Phuoc Hoa Reservoir

TTDT – On the morning of November 5th, 2009, at the Meeting Hall C of the Provincial People’s Committee, the provincial Chairman Nguyen Hoang Son chaired the meeting in which the Chairman and Vice-chairmen heard Binh Duong Water Supply – Sewerage – Environment Co., Ltd report the location of water-pipe route, reservoir and water treatment plants under the project of irrigating raw water originated from Phuoc Hoa Reservoir.

Former State President Tran Duc Luong Visits Binh Duong New City

On two days, July 18th and 19th, former State President Tran Duc Luong and his wife paid a working visit to Binh Duong province. Mr. Tran Duc Luong visited My Phuoc, Vietnam – Singapore Industrial Park, Minh Sang Plaza; visited and planted souvenir trees in Binh Duong new city. He was greatly impressed by the scope and infrastructure of Binh Duong.

Work starts on US$1.2 billion property project in south

Becamex Tokyu Co. Ltd. has begun work on a US$1.2 billion property project on about 71.5 hectares in the southern province of Binh Duong, marking the involvement of a first Japanese firm in urban development in Vietnam.
