Binh Duong BIDV cooperate with Becamex IDC for deployment of Becamex Social Housing Construction Project


In order to speed up the deployment, implementation of Becamex social housing project in Binh Duong, Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV)- Binh Duong Branch and Industrial Development and Investment Corporation- One Member Company Limited (Becamex IDC) has signed an agreement on comprehensive cooperation, period 2011-2015 and deployed credit program for the social housing project in Binh Duong province.

According to the signed contents, Binh Duong BIDV will deploy credit program worth VND 7,700 billion (period 2011-2015) for Becamex IDC’s development of synchronous infrastructure in industrial parks, urban areas, construction of projects for roads, health and education, especially the credit program supporting for the social housing project in Binh Duong at the present.

Binh Duong currently has a population of over 1.5 million people with 700,000 employees working in 28 industrial parks in the province. The demand for social houses is therefore very urgent, Becamex social housing project will help low-income people to access to and own quality apartments with cheap prices, and areas for living, entertainment, gradually improve their lives, create long-term stability on human resources for the local areas in the province.

With purposes of building houses for workers, helping them live and work in peace and contentment in Binh Duong, from now until 2015, about 60,000 apartments shall be built by Becamex IDC and its membership and sold at preferential prices to over 125,000 employees without houses but with stable jobs in the industrial parks of the province.
