Binh Duong Signed The Contract Worth Over USD 1,000,000 to Renovate Thu Dau Mot Town

Yesterday (13th November), on the occasion of the official visit to Vietnam of the France Prime Minister François Fillon, the Vietnam-France Business Forum held in Hanoi witnessed the ceremony of signing contract on urbanization and transport network planning for Thu Dau Mot Town between Binh Duong Province and AREP Ville Corporation (France) under the presence of the France Prime Minister François Fillon and the Vietnamese Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung.

Such Contract worth 710,000 Euro (equivalent to over USD 1,000,000). Moreover, enterprises of the two countries entered a series of contracts relating to Vietnam’s key economic sectors such as petroleum, power, telecommunication, aviation, finance and banking, etc, in which extremely high value agreements (worth 2.5 million Euro) were also made such as the MOU on project sponsor by and between PetroVietnam and BNP PARIBAS Bank, Agreement on General Research and Cooperation for Quang Trach Thermal Power Project worth USD 1.5 million, etc.

Thanks to the renovation, Vietnam achieved a great success in economic including WTO’s adhesion of Vietnam, affirmed by Mr. François Fillon. France paid special attention to a New Vietnam which was a very significant partner and made great efforts to strengthen Vietnam- France cooperation relationship in an extensive and intensive manner to well match with the two countries’ potential. Delivered the speech at the ceremony, the Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung also highlighted that the availability of the two countries’ high ranking enterprise delegations proved the desire to further improve the mutual friendship relation, especially in field of economics.
