Cooperating with the World Bank to develop the EIP Eco-Industrial Park model
Becamex pioneered in accompanying the World Bank to research and promote the opportunity to develop the first Eco-Industrial Park (EIP) in Vietnam according to the international framework EIP 2.0 of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), World Bank and German International Cooperation Organization (GIZ), while meeting the criteria according to the orientation of the Eco-Industrial Park of the Vietnamese Government.

Becamex Eco-Industrial Park meets the criteria of the World Bank’s EIP 2.0, including:

Industrial symbiosis
Utilize resources and waste among businesses in industrial parks to minimize waste and increase resource efficiency.

Green and renewable energy
Use solar energy and other clean energy sources to supply electricity for projects in industrial parks.

Automatic environmental monitoring
Using IoT and Big Data technology through the IOC Smart Operations Center to monitor and manage the environment in industrial parks.

Water circulation
Treatment and reuse of wastewater for production and irrigation activities.

Circular economy
Promote recycling and reuse of resources to reduce emissions into the environment, while aiming to prevent emissions.

Clean production industry
Encourage high value-added and environmentally friendly industries.
Green and stable electricity supply
Becamex has cooperated with leading partners in the industry, establishing 02 member units including VSSES and BVPower in charge of implementing green and stable energy solutions.
