BV POWER , VSSES and BW Industrial Sign Strategic Mous For Large-scale Power Infrastructure Development And Sustainable Industrial Growth

On March 24, 2026, BV Power, VSSES and BW Industrial officially signed strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to develop large-scale power infrastructure and deploy rooftop solar projects, in the presence of leaders from Becamex Group, Warburg Pincus and Vietnam – Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP).

Powering hyperscale data centers with scalable energy infrastructure
BV Power and BW Industrial will collaborate to develop large-scale power infrastructure at BW Supply Chain City Industrial Park. The project is designed to ensure a stable, reliable and scalable power supply, meeting the high and continuous energy demands of hyperscale data centers as well as high-tech industries. At the same time, the development of integrated power infrastructure will support the energy requirements for digital infrastructure growth in the Ho Chi Minh City area.
The project builds upon a prior agreement signed on January 13, 2026, regarding the development of a 110kV substation, which is currently undergoing final approval procedures. According to the plan, the system is expected to deliver an initial capacity of approximately 120 MW within the next 12 months, supporting the project’s initial operational phase.
In the next phase, BV Power will continue to partner with BW Industrial to develop additional substations, subject to demand, with a total planned capacity of up to approximately 580 MW. This expansion is expected to increase the project’s total power supply to around 700 MW over the next three to five years, supporting the growing demand from industrial customers and data centers.

Advancing renewable energy for sustainable industrial operations
VSSES will partner with BW to deploy a large-scale rooftop solar system at BW Bau Bang Industrial Park. The project will have an initial capacity of 30 MWp, with expansion potential exceeding 100 MWp in the coming years. With 30 MWp at a single industrial hub, this first phase of installation is expected to be among the largest single-site rooftop solar deployments in Vietnam’s industrial and logistics real estate sector.
The system will be installed across approximately 240,000 m² of rooftop area, with an expected annual output of up to 40.5 million kWh, contributing a stable and clean energy source for industrial operations. Under this collaboration, BW Industrial will be responsible for system development and management, VSSES will provide technical solutions and operations, while BV Power will take on the role of offtaker, handling power distribution and integration into the existing grid.

This partnership not only ensures a stable power supply for next-generation industries and data centers, but also represents a strategic step toward integrating renewable energy into modern industrial ecosystems.
