With a tradition of more than 30 years of experience in the field of developing industrial park, urban and service infrastructure, Becamex IDC Corporation is the leading unit in implementing and deploying the development model “industry – urban and service” when forming a joint venture with Singaporean partner Sembcorp Group to form Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company Limited.

Chairman of the People’s Committee of Bau Bang district (Binh Duong province) Vo Thanh Giau shared that from a purely agricultural district, thanks to Bau Bang Industrial Park and Bau Bang Industrial Park expansion, from 2014 to present, Bau Bang district’s economy has always had an average annual growth rate of 18.84%; industrial production value increased 4.72 times and reached 35,361 billion VND in 2023; total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue increased by an average annual growth rate of 23.88% and reached 9,878 billion VND in 2023; attracting foreign investment from 50 projects with investment capital of more than 730 million USD increased to 283 projects with capital of more than 4.6 billion USD, attracting domestic investment from 170 projects with investment capital of 14,460 billion VND increased to 1,216 projects with investment capital of more than 32,535 billion VND…

Similarly, in Ben Cat city (Binh Duong province), My Phuoc 1, 2, 3 and Thoi Hoa industrial parks have achieved very high efficiency in attracting investment for economic development, contributing to helping Ben Cat city attract 866 projects with foreign investment capital with a total investment capital of more than 10 billion USD…

New generation model associated with attracting smart investment.

In addition to creating industrial park infrastructure to create development momentum, Becamex IDC Corporation has accompanied Binh Duong province in implementing the strategy of developing smart cities and innovation zones according to the goal of set targets.

Specifically, at the end of 2016, Binh Duong province approved the Binh Duong Smart City Project with the core being the new Binh Duong city. Of which, three consecutive times (2021, 2022 and 2023), Binh Duong city was continuously in the top 7 Communities with typical smart development strategies in the world. Recently, Binh Duong city was honored with the award of Top 1 Community with typical smart development strategies in the world in 2023.
