Our history and development is closely connected to the evolvement of industrial park models. Becamex, Sembcorp Group and VSIP jointly established Vietnam – Singapore Smart Energy Solutions Joint Stock Company (VSSES).

Commencement of construction of Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial – Urban & Service Park.
Official approval of Binh Duong Innovation Region Project.

Official announcement of World Trade Center Binh Duong New City (WTC BDNC).

Established BW Industrial (BWID), a joint venture between Becamex and Warburg Pincus (USA).

Becamex and NTTEast Group (Japan) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore business feasibility to jointly develop Binh Duong Smart City.

Commencement of construction of Binh Duong Industrial – Urban & Service Complex.
2002
Moved to the period of synchronous development of industry – service – urban areas (starting with Becamex My Phuoc Industrial Park), developing transportation connecting seaports – airports and surrounding provinces.
2000
Inaugurated National Highway 13 developed by Becamex, the first national highway to apply the BOT model in Vietnam.
1996
Becamex Corporation entered into a joint venture with a Singapore consortium led by Sembcorp Development to establish the first Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park on 14 May 1996.
Started developing the first industrial park, providing integrated supporting infrastructure, proper masterplan, and dedicated management authority.
Early 1990s
Established production area of 20 – 30 hectares to develop the initial pilot model for industrial production cluster of small scale production activities.
1980s
Becamex had business activities in many fields such as import and export, and distribution of consumer goods and electronics.
1976
Ben Cat General Trade Company (Becamex), predecessor of Becamex Corporation, was established.
